How do I place an order with Alhazen Eyewear?

  1. Once you’ve seen something that you’ve liked, click the “Add to Cart” button.
  2. After you’ve added your preferred items to the cart, click on the shopping bag/cart icon on the top right corner of the page.
  3. Check your cart to ensure that everything is correct.
  4. Add any special requests that you’d like us to include regarding your order.
  5. Click on “Checkout”.
  6. Fill out your personal details and the postal address that you’d like your product(s) to be delivered to.
  7. Click on “Continue to shipping method”.
  8. Make sure your contact details and postal address is correct. Select “Free Shipping” (for South African customers).
  9. Click on “Continue to payment method”.
  10. Choose your billing address – either “Same as shipping address” or “Use different billing address”.
  11. Click on “Complete order”.
  12. You will be redirected to our secure payment system. Enter your banking details correctly, then click on “Complete Payment”.
  13. Your order is successful when you receive an automated confirmation email from us with your order number.
  14. If, for some reason, your order is unsuccessful, please email us at info@alhazeneyewear.com and we’ll do our best to help you through.

 

How long does it take for my product to reach me?

All orders are dispatched within one working day of receiving payment confirmation, unless otherwise stated.

Standard delivery takes 3 to 7 working days, depending on the order’s destination.

Please note that this is the best case scenario as we rely on couriers not experiencing delays themselves.

 

What is the cost of delivery?

Deliveries are free within South Africa.

 

Do we ship internationally?

We do not currently ship internationally.

 

How can I track my order?

Once your order is shipped, you will receive a notification from our courier with a tracking number which you can use to trace your order.

 

What is the security code that Payfast asks me for?

When making your payment through the Payfast’s secure payment system, you will receive a code from your bank which you use to complete your online payment. This is a feature that is set up at the bank or via your online banking system.
